Our DNA from the beginning
Sustainability has always been in our DNA (even if we did not know it at the time!) from Airestec’s early days in 1990s of assisting with wastewater treatments in Australia, to contributing to the environment with green and safe decontamination as proper maintenance today, Airestec’s has grown from a biotech innovator into a performer for

Assets & Sustainability
Airestec helps assets perform longer, safer, and greener. By removing biofilms deep inside at the source of the problem, we reduce energy demand, lower emissions, and extend the life cycles of cooling systems. This means fewer replacements (CAPEX), lower operational costs (OPEX), and measurable carbon savings — strengthening sustainability through asset resilience.
Environment & Sustainability
Our multi-enzyme solutions are readily biodegradable, non-toxic, and non-corrosive. They eliminate biofilm without leaving harmful residues, delivering cleaner air and energy efficiency while meeting the highest environmental standards. More than 60% natural degradation occurs within 28 days, ensuring a true green cycle from use to disposal. This also classifies our multi-enzyme technology as a green product that can assist with green building points and sustainable procurement.
ESG Commitments
UN SDGs Commitments
Airestec’s solutions are aligned with multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-Being) for its mission, SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) for air quality contributions, SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption & Production) for Airestec’s responsible Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing, and SDG 13 (Climate Action) as cited by our clientele for reducing emissions from cooling systems. Airestec was recognized for this alignment during the Sustainable Business Awards (SBA) in 2021 (audited by PwC and WBCSD).
Our CSR efforts involve providing education and training sessions on green technologies for maintenance with entities such as Akademi Binaan Malaysia (ABM), CIDB and UniKL to highlight our commitment to community development and shared sustainability for fresh minds.
